Steak & Shiraz Pi Pie
Undoubtedly one of our best selling pies, this one with Pi Day themed decoration is a must-not-miss treat. It is a hearty pot pie made with only the finest ingredients in a meticulous manner, all to satisfy your steak pie needs. First we take AAA steak and marinate it to perfection overnight. Then it is slowly stewed with onions, parsnip, carrots, potatoes, Shiraz wine and mushrooms until tender. We then pour the stew into our pie shells and top with fresh pie pastry. This pie will surely be a hit at your Pi Day dinner. Don't miss out!
Note: This pie must be ordered min. 48 hours in advance of pick up at our Granville Island location.
Baking Instructions:
- For Fresh Raw Pies with top crust: Bake at 420 degrees for 10 minutes first and then at 375 degrees for another 40 minutes or until golden brown
- For Frozen Raw Pies with top crust: Bake from Frozen, Bake at 420 degrees for 10 minutes and then at 375 degrees for another 50 to 60 minutes or until golden brown
Reheating Instructions:
- Wrap the entire pie in aluminum foil and bake at 250 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until the middle of the pie is warm and the top crust is crispy.
